Mohan has more than 13 years of experience working for medium to enterprise level software firms, specializing in cloud solutions. After working with Coupa, Mohan joined Serrala and has guided the Alevate AP team as they developed and launched innovative new capabilities such as the Serrala Microsoft Teams app, Generative AI insights, and API integrations as well as our recent SAP Certified integration with GROW, S/4HANA public cloud systems.

Matt Pitcher

Matt is responsible for leading the product strategy for our Serrala Accounts Payable products. Matt has over 15 years navigating the finance automation software industry, delving into realms like AP, AR, Payments, and CCM. He is passionate about strategic planning and product delivery, and brings his keen insight into go-to-market, product management and product marketing methodologies to the Serrala team. He is fiercely dedicated to building software products that help our customers introduce innovative capabilities, address emerging risks, eliminate process weaknesses and adapt to changing global market trends. As key a member of our multi-functional executive team, he ensures Serrala AP and data capture solutions provide our customers with positive outcomes and measurable operational improvements.

Axel Rebien

Axel Rebien is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Serrala, the global leader in finance process automation empowering the world’s leading enterprises reach new levels of excellence in finance through automation. With over 20 years of experience in executive leadership, he has a strong track record in corporate finance, M&A strategy, investor relations and business transformation.

Axel holds the overall responsibility for the strategic direction, operations, management, and performance of the company. Before becoming CEO in July 2023, Axel served as Serrala’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO), where he was responsible for the company’s financial strategy, accounting, and financial planning. His leadership in this role strengthened Serrala’s financial operations and positioned the company for long-term stability.

Prior to Serrala, he held executive senior leadership positions at Unzer (CEO and CFO; formerly: heidelpay group), a fast-growing, innovative, and modular platform for international payments, PharmaSGP SE (healthcare and pharmaceuticals), and Tom Tailor Holding SE, where he successfully managed the 2010 IPO.

Axel Rebien demonstrated solid experience leading global finance operations, his dynamic leadership, authentic hands-on attitude and visionary mindset, combined with his deep knowledge of the issues and opportunities facing our industry and its customers, are instrumental in driving Serrala’s continued growth and global influence.

Axel holds an MBA in Economics from Gottfried-Wilhelm-Leibniz-University, Hannover, and a Ph.D. in Political Science and Economics from the University of Chemnitz. He is based in Hamburg, Germany.

Michaela Odebrecht

Michaela is the responsible Product Manager and leads the team of Product Owners for FS² Payment, CLT and eBAM solutions. Michaela started her career in the banking sector. Before joining Serrala in April 2011, she was the lead Product Manager for SWIFT for Corporates at Commerzbank. She has more than 30 years of extensive expertise in national and international payments and global cash management for corporate customers as well as for financial institutions. Michaela holds a degree as specialist for foreign trade.

Oliver Kloster

Oliver is a Solution Architect Manager, responsible for P2P Processes, AP and Payment Automation. In his role, he is responsible for developing software-based process solutions for Serrala customers and for supporting the sales process with product and process expertise.

He has over a decade of experience across the entire P2P process. He has been involved in many projects with global customers where he brings his deep knowledge of AP Automation, electronic payments, SAP & Cloud Solutions. Prior to joining the Solution Architects team, Oliver has held positions as a Consultant and Project Manager at Serrala.

Manuel Klaaßen

As Solution Architect, Manuel is responsible for the success of Serrala’s AR solutions. In his role, he is responsible for the further development of software-based process solutions for Serrala customers and supporting the sales process with product and process expertise.
Manuel has over 10 years of experience in the entire I2C environment. He has been involved in many projects with global clients where he brought his deep knowledge of AR process automations, electronic payments, SAP and cloud solutions.

Andy Büch

As a Solutions Evangelist, Andy is the brand ambassador for Serrala’s “Invoice to Cash” solutions. He represents Serrala’s products and image both internally and externally, covering all product topics as well as the strategic direction in the relevant subject areas.
Prior to this role, as VP Product and Director Solutions Success, he was responsible for the implementation and success of credit and receivables management solutions.

With nearly 20 years of experience in the risk and receivables industry and 30 years of experience in IT, he has successfully implemented more than 150 projects in his career as a project manager, solution architect, developer, and consultant in various industries.

He holds a degree in mathematics (Berliner Hochschule für Technnik).

Rami Chahine

Rami Chahine is Chief Product and Technology Officer (CPTO) and a member of the executive management board of Serrala. Rami directs the product, technology, and IT functions while driving Serrala’s global advancements in technology and innovation.

Rami Chahine is a seasoned product executive with over 20 years of experience in driving technology roadmaps, from market analysis to global product launches. Known for his innovative and execution-oriented approach, Rami is passionate about building engaging products to increase market share. Before joining Serrala, Rami served as SVP of Products at Quadient, Chief Product Officer at Jahia Inc., and SVP of Product Management at Datawatch Corporation. His accomplishments include spearheading visionary product strategies, building teams for agility and high productivity, and achieving significant revenue growth through successful product execution.

Vishal leads Neev software development and commercial operations, overseeing a global team. He has more than twenty years’ experience in the IT industry and specializes in design, productization, marketing, pre-sales, implementation and support of enterprise business and content management solutions.

Prior to Neev, Vishal was Senior Vice President of Serrala where he led the global development of the Corestone and Accounts Payable solutions. His work with Serrala began when, Dolphin Solutions Corp, merged with Hanse Orga and e5 Consulting. Vishal served as the Chief Technology Officer of Dolphin. During his time at Dolphin, Vishal transformed the company from a niche consulting startup to a software product company. In this role he carried full P&L responsibilities, helping build and manage consulting, product, and engineering teams and spearhead successful partnerships.

Andrew McGaffey is the Global Product Marketing & Market Intelligence Manager for Serrala. He provides market and competitive insights, market sizing & segmentation, and leads Analyst Relations with firms like Gartner, Forrester, & IDC. Prior to joinging Serrala he had over 12 years of experience in private equity consulting for Grant Thornton Stax, participating in 150+ buy-side, sell-side, and value creation engagements across a wide range of industries, particularly B2B SaaS solutions.

Thomas Keim

In his role as Principal Solution Architect, Thomas advises companies through professional consulting services on process optimization in the areas of payments, bank communication, and cash management.

He has a proven track record of actively supporting corporates in optimizing their business processes.

Before joining Serrala, Thomas worked as Senior Account Director at SWIFT, responsible for “SWIFT for Corporates,” and as Senior Vice President at the former Dresdner Bank in Frankfurt and New York, holding various responsibilities in the field of cash and payment management.

Ionut Rosca

 Ionut is responsible for leading the product roadmap, development and release of our FS² AccountsPayable solution. He works closely with stakeholders across Serrala and with our customers to ensure our SAP-embedded AP solution meets the latest technical, industry and compliance requirements.   

Ionut has more than a decade of experience leading financial process management projects and software development and delivery teams. Starting as an Accountant in the public sector, he quickly moved on to become a Financial Analyst and an Accounts Payable Operations Lead in the private sector. In those roles he was responsible for managing internal finance and process controls projects and acted as the single point of contact for several audit exercises. Subsequently, Ionut became a Financial Process Consultant where he worked with some of the world’s largest companies. His strong technical skills, deep financial knowledge, and engaging interpersonal style helped him successfully lead multiple strategic finance transformation projects for both British American Tobacco and Serrala.

Patrick has been with Serrala since July 2018. He oversees our FS² solutions that support Order-to-Cash processes, in particular credit management, collections & disputes, as well as compliance in the DACH region. 

Before that, he spent more than 15 years in various roles in credit and receivables management. His experience ranges from credit and collections processing, to working as a credit manager, all the way to serving as the EMEA process owner for credit management and accounts receivable. 

Patrick holds a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting and General Management. In addition, he completed the one‑year part‑time BVCM continuing education program at the Bochum University of Applied Sciences and earned the qualification of Certified Credit Manager.

Jessica Adamczak

Jessica has over 20 years of extensive experience in SAP solutions. She started her career as a consultant before becoming a project manager implementing Serrala’s payment solutions for various clients. For more than a decade, Jessica has worked as a product manager in our company. In this role, she drives the further development of solutions in the areas of payments and account statements. Her current focus is on the development of FIORI apps and optimizing the user experience (core user journey) of our product solutions.
