Axel Rebien is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Serrala, the global leader in finance process automation empowering the world’s leading enterprises reach new levels of excellence in finance through automation. With over 20 years of experience in executive leadership, he has a strong track record in corporate finance, M&A strategy, investor relations and business transformation.

Axel holds the overall responsibility for the strategic direction, operations, management, and performance of the company. Before becoming CEO in July 2023, Axel served as Serrala’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO), where he was responsible for the company’s financial strategy, accounting, and financial planning. His leadership in this role strengthened Serrala’s financial operations and positioned the company for long-term stability.

Prior to Serrala, he held executive senior leadership positions at Unzer (CEO and CFO; formerly: heidelpay group), a fast-growing, innovative, and modular platform for international payments, PharmaSGP SE (healthcare and pharmaceuticals), and Tom Tailor Holding SE, where he successfully managed the 2010 IPO.

Axel Rebien demonstrated solid experience leading global finance operations, his dynamic leadership, authentic hands-on attitude and visionary mindset, combined with his deep knowledge of the issues and opportunities facing our industry and its customers, are instrumental in driving Serrala’s continued growth and global influence.

Axel holds an MBA in Economics from Gottfried-Wilhelm-Leibniz-University, Hannover, and a Ph.D. in Political Science and Economics from the University of Chemnitz. He is based in Hamburg, Germany.

Rami Chahine is a seasoned product executive with over 20 years of experience in driving technology roadmaps, from market analysis to global product launches. Known for his innovative and execution-oriented approach, Rami is passionate about building engaging products to increase market share. Before joining Serrala, Rami served as SVP of Products at Quadient, Chief Product Officer at Jahia Inc., and SVP of Product Management at Datawatch Corporation. His accomplishments include spearheading visionary product strategies, building teams for agility and high productivity, and achieving significant revenue growth through successful product execution.

With more than ten years of experience in data, analytics, fintech, and SAPembedded finance processes, he defines the strategic direction for nextgeneration AI solutions that help finance organizations achieve operational excellence and measurable business impact. 

Before taking on his AI leadership role, David spearheaded the evolution of Serrala Analytics into a highly scalable SaaS platform. Today, he oversees Serrala’s AI product vision, drives the development of endtoend agentic workflows, and collaborates closely with customers, partners, and engineering teams to shape the future of autonomous finance. 

With deep expertise in SAP FI/CO, data architecture, product strategy, and AIdriven process automation, David is a soughtafter speaker on topics such as “AI in Finance,” “Agentic Systems,” and “Autonomous Finance Transformation.” 

Leonie Schrode

Leonie has been working for Serrala for 10 years. Starting as Senior Consultant for FS² AutoBank, she moved into product management in March 2020. After returning from parental leave, she is now responsible for the continuous development of the FS³ Fiori side of the cash application solution of Serrala.   

Hugo Elsman

Hugo joined Serrala in January 2014 and is the Product Manager for AutoBank Cash Application for SAP. He is responsible for driving the product strategy and roadmap, ensuring the solution delivers strong customer value by continuously enhancing and optimizing automated cash application processes. Prior to his current role, Hugo spent more than a decade working extensively on AutoBank implementations as an Implementation Consultant and Project Manager. During this time, he led numerous customer projects across industries, gaining deep hands-on experience with complex cash application scenarios and system integrations. Through this close collaboration with customers, he developed a strong understanding of how organizations work with AutoBank in their daily operations. This practical expertise enables him to translate real-world customer needs into meaningful product improvements and innovations.

Jessica Adamczak

Jessica has over 20 years of extensive experience in SAP solutions. She started her career as a consultant before becoming a project manager implementing Serrala’s payment solutions for various clients. For more than a decade, Jessica has worked as a product manager in our company. In this role, she drives the further development of solutions in the areas of payments and account statements. Her current focus is on the development of FIORI apps and optimizing the user experience (core user journey) of our product solutions.

Jutta Linne

Jutta Linne is the Global Process Owner for the Order to Cash process within the Sealing Technologies division of the Freudenberg Group. She leads the Invoice to Cash team of the globally positioned Shared Service Center. She specializes in process optimization, always focusing on the end-to-end process to strengthen cross-functional collaboration. Another key aspect of her work is establishing global processes to increase efficiency. 

Rainer Hofmann

Rainer Hofmann is Head of Governance, Projects and Process Improvements, including RPA, in the Shared Service Finance organization of the Heraeus Group. Before joining Heraeus in 2014 as Head of Cash Management, he spent 15 years as a consultant for SAP Finance and Treasury in various industrial companies. In addition, he leads and coordinates major projects within the Shared Service organization related to automation, sustainability management, S/4HANA migration, and the transition to CAMT/PAIN across the entire group.

Janina Kolbe

Janina Kolbe is Strategic Account Executive DACH at Serrala. In her role, she is responsible for strategic clients across the German-speaking region and supports organizations in advancing their finance processes – with a particular focus on working capital optimization, automation, and the digitalization of order-to-cash and payment processes. 

Through her work with strategic clients, she brings practical perspectives on how technology initiatives can support the strategic priorities of CFO organizations.

Mohan has more than 13 years of experience working for medium to enterprise level software firms, specializing in cloud solutions. After working with Coupa, Mohan joined Serrala and has guided the Alevate AP team as they developed and launched innovative new capabilities such as the Serrala Microsoft Teams app, Generative AI insights, and API integrations as well as our recent SAP Certified integration with GROW, S/4HANA public cloud systems.

Jaya Dadlani

Jaya is the Product Manager for SAP Embedded Credit & Collections, leading cross-functional teams in shaping the roadmap and delivering product capabilities that create customer value and support business growth. With over 13 years of experience in medium to enterprise software organizations and deep expertise in SAP FI, she brings a strong blend of functional and product strategy skills. Prior to joining the Serrala, Jaya was a Senior Consultant at Infosys, working with multinational corporations to architect and implement SAP FSCM solutions. Drawing on that experience, she has since been instrumental in bringing new, customer-focused innovations to the product.

Patrick Heinisch

Patrick has been with Serrala since July 2018. He oversees our FS² solutions that support Order-to-Cash processes, in particular credit management, collections & disputes, as well as compliance in the DACH region. 

Before that, he spent more than 15 years in various roles in credit and receivables management. His experience ranges from credit and collections processing, to working as a credit manager, all the way to serving as the EMEA process owner for credit management and accounts receivable. 

Patrick holds a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting and General Management. In addition, he completed the one‑year part‑time BVCM continuing education program at the Bochum University of Applied Sciences and earned the qualification of Certified Credit Manager. 

Mickey Vonckx

Mickey is SVP Portfolio Strategy at Serrala and responsible for delivering shared cloud services and driving the cloud portfolio strategy. He has spent 25 years in payments domain; specifically designing and commercializing B2B payment solutions for corporate clients. The last 13 years he has been working at Serrala, first as the EMEA sales manager and later he has started the Managed Automation team at Serrala.

Oliver is a Solution Architect Manager, responsible for P2P Processes, AP and Payment Automation. In his role, he is responsible for developing software-based process solutions for Serrala customers and for supporting the sales process with product and process expertise.

He has over a decade of experience across the entire P2P process. He has been involved in many projects with global customers where he brings his deep knowledge of AP Automation, electronic payments, SAP & Cloud Solutions. Prior to joining the Solution Architects team, Oliver has held positions as a Consultant and Project Manager at Serrala.

Ionut Rosca

Product Owner, FS² AccountsPayable

 Ionut is responsible for leading the product roadmap, development and release of our FS² AccountsPayable solution. He works closely with stakeholders across Serrala and with our customers to ensure our SAP-embedded AP solution meets the latest technical, industry and compliance requirements.   

Ionut has more than a decade of experience leading financial process management projects and software development and delivery teams. Starting as an Accountant in the public sector, he quickly moved on to become a Financial Analyst and an Accounts Payable Operations Lead in the private sector. In those roles he was responsible for managing internal finance and process controls projects and acted as the single point of contact for several audit exercises. Subsequently, Ionut became a Financial Process Consultant where he worked with some of the world’s largest companies. His strong technical skills, deep financial knowledge, and engaging interpersonal style helped him successfully lead multiple strategic finance transformation projects for both British American Tobacco and Serrala.  

Manuel Klaaßen

Manuel has over 10 years of experience in the entire I2C environment. He has been involved in many projects with global clients where he brought his deep knowledge of AR process automations, electronic payments, SAP and cloud solutions.

Andy Büch

Solutions Evangelist - Invoice to Cash

As a Solutions Evangelist, Andy is the brand ambassador for Serrala’s “Invoice to Cash” solutions. He represents Serrala’s products and image both internally and externally, covering all product topics as well as the strategic direction in the relevant subject areas.
Prior to this role, as VP Product and Director Solutions Success, he was responsible for the implementation and success of credit and receivables management solutions.

With nearly 20 years of experience in the risk and receivables industry and 30 years of experience in IT, he has successfully implemented more than 150 projects in his career as a project manager, solution architect, developer, and consultant in various industries.

He holds a degree in mathematics (Berliner Hochschule für Technnik).

Prior to Neev, Vishal was Senior Vice President of Serrala where he led the global development of the Corestone and Accounts Payable solutions. His work with Serrala began when, Dolphin Solutions Corp, merged with Hanse Orga and e5 Consulting. Vishal served as the Chief Technology Officer of Dolphin. During his time at Dolphin, Vishal transformed the company from a niche consulting startup to a software product company. Tobias Naumann is a lawyer and has held various commercial positions at SAP since 2012. During this time, he was responsible for different roles in the Services and Cloud sectors across Germany, Austria, and the EMEA/MEE region. As part of the Simplify Selling Services Leadership Team within Global Commercial Finance Strategy & Franchise, he drove the optimization of cross-departmental processes, among other initiatives.
